The Malaysia International Economic and Social Development Association (MIESDA) is pleased to announce an upcoming charitable collaboration with the National Stroke Association of Malaysia (NASAM) – Ampang Branch. This meaningful initiative will be personally championed by MIESDA’s Chairman, Yang Mulia Tengku Faizwa Tengku Razif, reflecting the association’s deep commitment to community well-being and social development.
This collaboration aims to support NASAM’s mission of empowering stroke survivors through rehabilitation, therapy programs, and community engagement. The activity will bring together volunteers, supporters, and local stakeholders to raise awareness on stroke recovery, promote inclusive support systems, and extend assistance to individuals and families affected by stroke.
MIESDA recognizes the critical role that organizations such as NASAM play in improving the quality of life for vulnerable groups. Through this partnership, MIESDA hopes to contribute meaningfully to strengthening Malaysia’s social support ecosystem, fostering compassion, and encouraging active participation in charitable causes.
Chairman Yang Mulia Tengku Faizwa’s leadership in this initiative underscores MIESDA’s belief that economic progress and social responsibility must go hand in hand. Her active involvement reflects the association’s commitment to building a Malaysia that prospers not only in development and industry but also in empathy, care, and community solidarity.
Further details on the program will be announced soon as MIESDA and NASAM finalize the activity schedule and volunteer engagement framework.
This initiative marks another step forward in MIESDA’s broader mission to promote inclusive development, social empowerment, and meaningful support for community-based organizations across Malaysia.
